Troy McConville, one of our electrical apprentices, recently competed at a European Athletics Promotion in Hexham England. We are proud to announce he finished first and scored overall points total of 6957.
He competed in 100m, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400m, 110m hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin and 1500m.
Not only is Troy working full time and progressing very well through his apprenticeship, but he is also achieving fantastic results in his sport.
We are incredibly proud of Troy’s talent and we look forward to continuing to support him through his competitions.
Stephen Buchanan, Operations Director and Davy Boyd, Operations Manager were delighted to hand over a cheque to Troy McConville, our Electrical Apprentice, to assist with funding his sporting ambitions in Decathlon competitions. Hopefully, this money will help Troy advance up the ranks where he is currently in the top 3 in the UK. We are all behind you Troy, and wish you every success in your sport.
