Vaux Plot 1, Sunderland

Work enters the last phase of the office development on the Vaux site for main contractor Tolent, They won the contract to complete the works after Carillion went into liquidation, it’s a five story Office block with main plantroom on the top level, photo-voltaic on the roof to assist in achieving the Correct bream ratings.  Work is scheduled to be complete in March 2019 and we enter the final stages of works on site we will undertake the commissioning of all M&E systems shortly.  Vaughan engineering assisted the council by taking on a number of Sunderland college apprentices for work experience during the main phase of the works.This office is the first of several buildings to be built on this site by Sunderland council over the coming years as the riverside is developed.
